Helping Los Angeles eat their vegetables

Welcome to a new improved lifestyle for you!

Here’s how it works. Jennie will shop the local Farmers Markets every Saturday and Sunday, and the chefs will start cooking. Your freshly prepared local food will be delivered on Mondays. (The best farmer’s markets are on the weekend around here). All the items on the menu will be brought to you, ready to create 3 to 5 delicious healthy meals.

But before any of that happens, you’ll answer a few questions about how you’re eating now, and how you would like that to improve. If you have dietary requests, the menus will be tailored specifically for your enjoyment. Arrangements for delivery must be made prior to the first delivery. All foods will come labeled, dated and in reusable containers. A printed menu will come with each order with four suggested menus from the weekly menu items. Amounts are portioned for 1- 3 people depending on appetites. Family plans and additional food available.

Week One

  • Roasted Rocky organic chicken (3LB) with barbeque sauce on the side
  • Picadillo – pastured ground beef seasoned with Latin spices
  • Fejoida – (fedge waa da) black bean and pork (vegan available)
  • Pasta sauce- arrabiata with hidden squash
  • Cooked up Brown rice and beans

Week Two

  • Butternut squash and Corn Sauté
  • Potato Pancakes with Sautéed Apples
  • Vegetable Tian
  • Cabbage Sauté
  • Cauliflower Risotto
  • Green beans just so

Pastured Meats and Other offerings

  • Roasted Rocky Organic Chicken with Fresh tomato Salsa
  • Meatloaf – turkey and beef blend – gravy
  • Brunswick Stew with chicken thighs, vegetables and Legumes or Carrot Ginger Soup
  • Spinach and Mushroom Pasta Sauce
  • Brown Basmati Rice Pilaf
  • Marinated White Beans

Week Three

  • Sweet Potato Smash
  • Zucchini fritters
  • Braised Leeks
  • Broccoli Slaw (vegan)
  • Seared Bok Choy

  • Minced Beef in Lettuce Leaves
  • Braised Chicken Sausage with onions and peppers
  • Chicken Marsala with Golden Mushrooms

Week Four

  • Roasted Brussel Sprouts
  • Homefried Potatoes
  • Seared green vegetable medley

  • Grilled organic chicken thighs with a Shoyu sauce

Weekly fee of $150 + delivery.

A four week retainer ($600.) is requested at the time the first order is placed. A trial week is suggested before a 4 week sign up

Delivery: $25 to $35.
